Go Lo-tech with Papertronics
Understanding electronics and circuits doesn't need to be hi-tech. The principles of electronics can be learned by using craft materials including conductive tapes, paints, inks, and threads.
Specifically we’ll focus on different types of circuits, components, and effects, and how to use them for both STEM subjects and creative arts. There'll be a lot of hands on making and exercises.
In this session we will cover:
- Electronics basics - polarity, series and parallel circuits, sensors
- Crafting electronics with copper tape, conductive paint, thread, pens, batteries, LEDs and tiny motors
- How to find online, or make printable, templates for easy class facilitation.
